Beri is a town and a municipal committee in the Jhajjar district northern Indian state of Haryana. The town is located northwest of Delhi and is a trading center. The first Chief Minister of Haryana, Bhagwat Dayal Sharma, was from Manheru. The town has a temple dedicated to the goddess Bhimeshwari and Lord Krishna. ==Demographics== India census, Beri had a population of 16,146. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Beri has an average literacy rate of 55%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with 57% of the males and 43% of females literate. 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
